The IPC mobile softphone allows you to use your smartphone just like an office deskphone.
Installing and configuring the application
Go the Apple App Store and download the Cloud Softphone application:
Your system administrator will send a text to your mobile which contains a provisioning link. Once the application is installed, click on the link and your IPC Softphone application will be automatically configured.
This can also be achieved using a QR code which your System Administrator is able to display on the IPC Solutions Customer Administration Portal against your extension.
Keypad tab
The Keypad tab allows you to dial a number as you would normally do on your mobile. You can press the green dial button to dial the entered number:

The Call History tab shows a history of all calls that were made and received from the softphone:
Contacts tab
The Contacts tab contains all the contacts stored on your device (named the Address Book) as well as contacts given to you by your organization (named System Contacts).
By default you will see the Address Book first:
Click on System Contacts to change to system contacts tab:
As shown, there is a Busy Lamp Field (BLF) displayed for some contacts (green dot) which shows if the contact is busy or not.

The Quickdial tab allows you to favourite contacts for those that are frequently used.
By default the "My Deskphone" and "Park" quickdials are displayed but you can add more using the green add new button on the bottom right.
The "My Deskphone" quickdial is used for when you would like to transfer from your Softphone to your Deskphone. This can be done by pressing the "Transfer" button during a call:
The "Park" quickdial is used to park the call.
