The mobile softphone allows you to make and receive calls on your mobile.
Keypad tab
The Keypad tab allows you to dial a number as you would normally do on your mobile. You can press the green dial button to dial the entered number:
Call History tab
The Call History tab shows a history of all calls that were made and received from the softphone:
Contacts tab
The Contacts tab contains all the contacts stored on your device (named the Address Book) as well as contacts given to you by your organization (named System Contacts).
By default you will see the Address Book first:
By clicking on the "Address Book" text to the search icon, you can change to the System Contacts:
The System Contacts should now be displayed:
As shown, there is a Busy Lamp Field (BLF) displayed for some contacts which shows if the contact is busy or not.
Quickdial tab
The Quickdial tab allows you to favourite contacts for those that are frequently used.
By default the "My Deskphone" and "Park" quickdials are displayed but you can add more using the green add new button on the bottom right (see transfer section on how to use).
Transfer
To transfer a call, tap the Transfer button which will immediately put the call on hold.
To then initiate the transfer, dial from either the Quickdial tab, the Contacts tab or the Keypad tab the number you wish to transfer to. Please see above on how to dial using these tabs as transfering is done in the same way.
In the Quickdial tab the "My Deskphone" quickdial is used for when you would like to transfer from your Softphone to your Deskphone. The "Park" quickdial can also be used to park the call.
